We also need people who are interested to work behind the camera in various departments of a film unit. A typical film unit has various departments that include Production, Direction, Camera/Gaffer (Lighting)/Grip, Sound, Art (Design/Props/Costumes/Hair & Makeup), Locations, Stunts, Visual Effects (VFX), and Post-Production, each with specific roles from the Director and Producers to specialized technicians, managing everything from creative vision to logistics, shooting, and final editing.
We need men and women who would like to work for the film in the following departments:
The Crew
- Production: Manages logistics, budget, scheduling (Unit Production Manager, Coordinator, PAs).
- Direction: Assistant Directors (1st AD, 2nd AD) who manage the set and schedule
- Camera: Headed by the Director of Photography (DOP), includes Camera Operators and DIT.
- Electric (Gaffer): Sets up lighting, led by the Gaffer and Best Boy Electric.
- Grip: Builds camera supports and rigging, led by the Key Grip.
- Sound: Records on-set audio (Production Mixer, Boom Operators) and designs post-production sound (Sound Designer).
- Costume: Designs and manages actor wardrobes (Costume Designer).
- Hair & Makeup: Styles actors (Hair/Makeup Department Heads).
- Locations: Finds and manages filming sites (Locations Manager).
- Catering: Supply food in filming sites (Catering Manager).
- Transport: Transporting cast and crew to filming sites (Transportation Manager).
The crew are also provided Food, Travel and Accommodation during the shooting period. They also need to enter into a contract with production compnay to avoid any disparities during or after filming.
Studios also can submit their quotes for "post-production" works such as editing, mixing and re-recording and dubbing etc. Also special effects services also preferred. Those interested may forward their call-sheet and tariff for Post Production works to us.
